My artwork won the first place at the walking dead art exhibition-contest between 53 artists. The votes were both by public voters and a judge committee.
FOX made an open call to all artists in Greece inviting them to create art, inspired by the world’s greatest show The Walking Dead.
Selected artist's artworks were exhibited in an Art exhibition, open to the public, on March 15-18, at Athens Conservatoire, with side action every day, open to the public.
The purpose of The Walking Dead ART project was to take us on a journey deeper into this world, through an alternative Art Exhibition. Inspiration came from the show, the plot and the characters. The struggle for survival, the fight against enemy parties, alive or dead, but above all the fight with themselves, is what makes our characters strong, tough, fair, emotional, resourceful but also more dangerous, as they are trying to find their place in this new world.
The Artists were dared to find the vision behind the images and create their own The Walking Dead ART art piece.
Μ Art was the Art Curator of «The Walking Dead ART». M Art was founded in 1996 and since then the organisation is active in the areas of arts and culture.
The activation was under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens and is also supported by Athens Culture Net, the City of Athens cultural network establishing which is operating With Stavros Niarchos Foundation as its founding donor.

My Artwork / Original Intentions
About the artwork: The fact that humans turned out to be violent after the Zombie Apocalypse truly inspired me. My biggest source of inspiration, from the series that i transformed into art, is the real intentions of the remaining humans, who would, initially, treat you nicely, but attack you at any given moment. My artwork shows a figure and its real intentions under bright light and on the dark side of the canvas fake prevails along with whatever is left from the destroyed world.
